Rebuilt, Not Broken is a memoir that chronicles the life and experiences of Dr. Kelly Bullock Daugherty along her journey through education. The client wanted the cover to be welcoming but also show the strength that she had to over come her obstacles. The color red (lipstick and scarf) were implemented to symbolize power and strength. While the trees in the background (green) compliments the reds and is a symbol of strength and growth as they stand tall and strong.
